Yesterday was Easter. My friend and I were invited to go to church. (but I didn't notice Easter. Even I am a Christian! Shame!) The church is for foreign visitors, so I couldn't feel I was a local one when I attended there. People celebrated Jesus' resurrection through singing hymns and doing performances. The mood was pleasant, bright and also sincere. After then, all together stood up and walked to a stage to put white lilies on the Cross. It was a significant experience to me.
So, here is a question.
WHAT DID YOU DO ON EASTER? DID YOU HAVE A SPECIAL EVENT FOR IT?
Peace be with you.
Hi, Grace~
ReplyDeleteI'm not a christian, so I didn't think about Easter.^^;
But my roommate is a sincere christian, and she goes to church every early morning, at 5!!
I knew yesterday was Easter when she sent me a text message to celebrate it.
Today, she gave me an egg and I ate it.
I only know we eat eggs on Easter.^^;
I went to Daejeon worldcup stadium to celebrate Easter. All the Christians in Daejeon got together and offered the service.There were around 50,000 christtians. Especially, I'm a member of church choir, so I sang a song 'Halleluiah' of Handel with many other church choir members. The sound echoed magnificently around the huge stadium.It was really graceful, Grace !!
